Alan Musson

Alan is a PhD student and radio presenter. From 2008 to 2020, he produced and presented the weekly jazz radio programs for both Black Country Radio and 102.5 The Bridge.

In 2017, he was a tutor on Talking Heads, a Midlands3Cities media event providing training on radio interviewing technique.

In 2018, he recorded, edited, and produced a 60-minute audio soundwalk for an AHRC Research Network event, hosted by Cheltenham Jazz Festival, in collaboration with BBC Radio 3 presenter Fiona Talkington. In 2020, he is working on producing and presenting projects for a proposed new online jazz radio station for Birmingham.
